The color temperature and color rendering index are important factors when it comes to lighting. Below are the two topics are explained.
Color temperature (K)
What you still hear a lot is that LED lighting produces cold light. Less known is that LED Strips are now also available with a variety of color temperatures. The color temperature is measured in units of Kelvin (K). A low color temperature means warm light, while light with a high color temperature has a cool, more energizing effect.

Color Rendering Index (CRI)
The CRI of a Light source determines the quality of color reproduction of objects. Light produced by heating has a high CRI. This means that the major part of the spectrum is present in the light. Sunlight has a value of 100 and a light bulb approached this value. Meat schould afther all look really red.
The closer the CRI at 100, the better how color of objects will be experienced.
