DETERMINING A SUFFICIENT POWER SUPPLY

A steady LED power supply for LED lighting is very important. The LED lighting have a significantly longer life expectancy.

We have several power supplies in stock for 5V, 12V and 24V LED FlexStrips. A sum helps to choose the right power supply.

P = U x I (Watts = Voltage x Amperage).

Take the number of meters and multiply this numer with the power per meter. Now you know the power of the total length. We always count 15% extra in order to ensure that the power supply does not have to run at full speed. So take the outcome of the total power and multiply with 1.15. The number that comes out of this calculation is at least equal to the capacity of the power supply.
